In 2014 I participated, along with 3 talented developers, in the Auckland Transport Hackathon. Our team was finalist and received an honorary mention for the application Hopper. I was in charge of its design.
The app was entirely designed and developed in two days.
Hopper is an app for making commuting easier and more fun. You can plan your journey and check your HOP card balance, but you can also earn points by playing games, answering surveys or reporting delays in the service. All images are screenshots of the actual working app:
The journey planner utilizes the Auckland Transport API and geolocation. You can save locations on your phone to then quickly find the shortest way home.
